WES MACK TO RELEASE EDGE OF THE STORM ON SEPTEMBER 4
CONTINUES TOURING WITH SHANIA TWAIN THIS FALL
06 August 2015- TORONTO, ON – Canadian country singer-songwriter, Wes Mack has set September 4 to release his full-length major label debut album Edge Of The Storm via Big Machine Canada/ Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. Fans can preorder the record on iTunes starting tomorrow, August 7 to receive the latest single “The Way You Let Me Down” along with four more instant grat tracks, including the previously unreleased, “Listen To Me”. Mack has worked tirelessly, writing and recording new music over the past few years, as well as directing the video for his Top 10 hit, “Before Your Drive Me Crazy”. Mack also had a hands-on on role in the studio, working alongside producer Micah Wilshire (Brett Eldrige) arranging the music for Edge Of The Storm. This summer, Wes Mack was selected to be Shania Twain’s highly coveted opening act on her sold-out Rock This Country Canadian tour where fans got the chance to catch his rockin’set and share the stage with Twain for her smash hit, “Party For Two”. Due to the overwhelming response from crowds from West to East, Wes has been asked to continue opening for Shania on the second leg of her Canadian tour dates. In the meantime, Wes has been playing country festivals all summer including, Craven Country Music Fest (Saskatoon) Cavendish Music Festival (PEI) and this weekend’s Boots and Hearts Music Festival (Ontario). To celebrate the release of Edge Of The Storm, Mack embarks on a weeklong promotional tour, kicking-off September 4 on the West Coast with a show in his hometown that day at Vancouver’s PNE and culminates in Halifax for the Canadian Country Music Awards (CCMA). Mack jumpstarts the CCMA weekend festivities with a performance at the Coors Banquet Kitchen Party on Friday, September 11 at the Cunard Centre along with Tim Hicks, Autumn Hill and more. After a flurry of performances and fan events, Mack’s release week ends at The Canadian Country Music Awards Sunday September 13 with two prestigious CCMA nominations for “Video Director of the Year” and “Songwriter of the Year” for “Before You Drive Me Crazy”.
