(TORONTO – September 21, 2015) - In conjunction with the September 23 theatrical release of their feature film “The Reflektor Tapes”, Arcade Fire has confirmed the September 25 digital release of a deluxe edition of the band's critically acclaimed, international #1 double album “Reflektor”. The Reflektor Deluxe Edition features another LP side’s worth of material not included on the original album: Five never-before-released Arcade Fire songs and a remix of “Flashbulb Eyes.” Several of the tracks exclusive to the deluxe edition—such as “Crucified Again,” “Get Right” and “Soft Power”-- will be familiar to Arcade Fire fans who have either witnessed rare live performances or seen or heard the previously unreleased material as featured in “The Reflektor Tapes”. A 7-inch vinyl single of “Get Right” b/w “Crucified Again” will be released on Merge / Sonovox / Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company, the same day as the Reflektor Deluxe digital release. These two tracks will be streaming exclusively on Tidal here from Monday 21st Sept until Friday 25th Sept. Additionally, “The Reflektor Tapes”, a cassette-only release of the unreleased tracks has been confirmed for November 6. The Reflektor Tapes track listing is as follows: 1.“Apocrypha" 2."Women of a Certain Age" 3."Flashbulb Eyes (Dennis Bovell remix ft. Linton Kwesi Johnson)" 4."Soft Power" 5."Get Right" 6."Crucified Again" Pre-orders for The Reflektor Tapes cassette and the “Get Right” 7-inch can be placed now at arcadefire.com (link to smarturl.it/REFLEKTORTAPESSHOP) This month also sees the release of The Reflektor Tapes, the first feature length film from Arcade Fire. Directed by 2013 Sundance Grand Jury Prize for Short Films winner Kahlil Joseph, The Reflektor Tapes is a fascinating insight into the making of Arcade Fire’s critically acclaimed, international #1 album Reflektor. The film charts the band’s creative journey as they lay foundations for the album in Jamaica, commence recording sessions in Montreal and play an impromptu gig at a Haitian hotel on the first night of Carnival—ultimately bringing their breathtaking live show to packed arenas in Los Angeles and London on the globe-spanning 2013-2104 Reflektor Tour.
