ARKELLS – Live From Montreal Available Exclusively on iTunes

22 May 2012 (TORONTO, ON) — Multi-Juno Award winning band, Arkells have today released Arkells – Live From Montreal. The seven songs from the Live Montreal performance at the Apple Store Sainte Catherine are exclusively available for $5.99 on iTunes (www.itunes.ca). The bands’ debut (Jackson Square) and sophomore album (Michigan Left) are available for $6.99 on iTunes (www.itunes.ca).

Formed in Hamilton, Ontario, Arkells (Max Kerman, Mike DeAngelis, Nick Dika, Tim Oxford, Anthony Carone) have become one of Canada’s most acclaimed rock outfits. In 2008, the band released their super-charged debut CD, Jackson Square. In 2010, Arkells were propelled further into the national spotlight, garnering The Juno Award for ‘New Group of The Year’; The Canadian Music Week Indie Award for ‘Favourite Live Artist/Group’; and Canadian Radio Music Award for ‘FACTOR Breakthrough Artist’.

In 2011, Arkells released their sophomore album Michigan Left to critical acclaim, and this past April won the 2012 Juno for ‘Band Of The Year’.
