But I also like the title because it's can be a play on words,” says Eve. With 10 million albums sold globally, Eve is a genuine star who is also a force in the world of fashion and film. Recognized as one of hip hop’s most celebrated female MCs, she has received accolades as diverse as her career, ranging from a GRAMMY Award, to an NAACP Image Award, MTV Video Music Award and a BET Award, as well as multiple nominations from across the industry for her work. As the only female in the Ruff Ryders crew that included DMX, The Lox and Drag-on, Eve stood out as the sexy, no-nonsense street savvy, ride-or-die chick that could hold her own amongst the boys. Her 2001 release Scorpion achieved Platinum sales in Canada, while garnering her crossover appeal with the Grammy Award winning mega-hit “Let Me Blow Ya Mind,” featuring Gwen Stefani. Eve recently joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of America as the female ambassador for their 2013 campaign to promote awareness and volunteer membership for the organization alongside male ambassador, Jamie Foxx. She also debuted an upcoming single, “Make It Out This Town” for the charity at a private event in Washington DC.Facebook.com/therealeve Twitter.com/therealeve
