JANN ARDEN’S NEW ALBUM, THESE ARE THE DAYS, OUT NOW

NEW SONG, “COME DOWN THE RIVER WITH ME” GOES TO CANADIAN RADIO TODAY

16 March 2018 (Toronto, ON) – Music icon Jann Arden today releases her highly-anticipated new album These Are The Days via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. The multi-platinum, award-winning singer/songwriter, best-selling author, radio host, actor, and activist has just wrapped a jam-packed week of promotion in support of what she is calling “her best work in 20 years”. Also in celebration of the album, Arden’s soulful and emotional new song, “Come Down The River With Me” is being serviced to Canadian radio today. Next weekend Arden will co-host and perform with Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee and producer of These Are The Days, Bob Rock at the 2018 JUNO Songwriters’ Circle on Sunday, March 25 at Vancouver’s Orpheum Theatre.

Next week Arden fans can also tune into SONGS & STORIES: JANN ARDEN – an intimate CTV special hosted by THE SOCIAL’s Marci Ien – airing Saturday, March 24 at 8pm ET/MT on CTV, and on CTV.ca and CTV GO immediately following the premiere. In the special, Arden sits down with Ien for a personal one-on-one interview and performs a selection of her favourite songs from her new album, and her unique version of her hit song “Insensitive”. An encore presentation of the special airs Tuesday, March 27 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo, and SONGS & STORIES: JANN ARDEN: DIRECTOR’S CUT, an extended version of the intimate special, premieres Friday, March 30 on CraveTV™.

Recorded at Vancouver’s Warehouse studios with Bob Rock at the helm, These Are The Days is a defiant statement from an artist at the height of her powers, more self-assured than ever before. The album’s second official single “Come Down The River With Me” follows the release of “Not Your Little Girl”, the compelling song/video released last week on International Women’s Day, “Everybody’s Pulling On Me” the album’s first official single, “Little Bird”, an instant grat offered with the album’s pre-order, and “A Long Goodbye”, a poignant reflection on the gradual disappearance of a loved one suffering from dementia-related illness, a theme central to Arden’s most recent book, Feeding My Mother – Comfort and Laughter in the Kitchen as My Mom Lives with Memory Loss.

Feeding My Mother… is now a certified #1 Bestseller and has remained on the Bestseller lists since it was published on November 21, 2017.
