11 OCTOBER 2024 (TORONTO, ON) – Multi-Platinum singers, songwriters, and producers Jeremy Zucker and Chelsea Cutler return today with their second single offering from their highly-anticipated forthcoming brent iii album titled “A-frame,” out now—listen HERE. brent iii the full-length album is set for release on November 1st via Mercury Records and will be followed by the duo’s Brent Forever: The Tour across North America this fall.
Jeremy and Chelsea wrote “A-frame” on a writing trip together in a cabin in Big Bear, CA, inspired by the A-Frame’s natural acoustics and reverb. The song instantly transfixes as it urges a return to a simpler life and simpler love, with both artists singing, “Sitting by the fire, with a bottle of gin. Baby it’s your world, I’m just happy that you let me in.”
Jeremy shares, “chelsea and i drove up to big bear, CA in search of inspiration. in the dead of winter, we packed up my mom’s CR-V with almost every guitar we owned and set up shop in an A-frame on a lake. brent iii has been in the making ever since chelsea and i met back in 2016, but this week in big bear was the first time we sat down and realized after all these years, we still had more to say.”
Last month, Jeremy and Chelsea introduced brent iii with their latest single, “black & white.” UPROXX described the track as“an aching acoustic duet about small acts of love that make everyday mundanity feel heavenly,” while Euphoria praised its“folky, jam-band-like crescendo.”
Kicking off on November 15th in Chicago at The Auditorium just in time for “brent fall”, Brent Forever: The Tour will see Cutler and Zucker perform together for the very first time in intimate venues across North America, singing brent fan favorites like the Double-Platinum “you were good to me” and Gold “this is how you fall in love,” as well as new material off of brent iii. The tour will run through mid-December and includes newly-added second shows at New York’s The Town Hall on November 21st and Los Angeles’ The United Theater on Broadway on December 4th.
