Not only is her voice absolutely mesmerizing, but it transcends genres as she dabbles with elements of pop, soul, dance and folk.” Pitchfork said, “Rogers’ voice is practically bursting at the seams with originality.” The New Yorker declared, “Maggie Rogers is an artist of her time” and NPR noted, "(Maggie Rogers') voice is mesmerizing... ‘Alaska’ will go down in history…it has a glacial purity that’s rare in a pop music paradigm that tries so hard to craft the viral enthusiasm Maggie Rogers generated by being herself.”
