21 NOVEMBER 2024 (TORONTO, ON) – Today, global rap icons Snoop Dogg and Dr.Dre released new single “Outta Da Blue” featuring Alus, produced by Dr. Dre, Dem Jointz, BoogzDaBeast, and FNZ via Death Row, Aftermath, Interscope and Universal Music Canada. Listen HERE.
The legendary duo recently previewed “Outta Da Blue” alongside a few other new tracks, last weekend during their live episode of Drink Champs at ComplexCon. The song was also teased in the official trailer for the upcoming Netflix film ‘Back In Action’ starring Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz. Watch the trailer HERE.
Earlier this month, Snoop announced the release of his new album Missionary due December 13 with the release of “Gorgeous” featuring Jhené Aiko, giving fans an early taste of what to expect on the upcoming album. “Gorgeous” also notably debuted on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart at No. 29, celebrating their return to the respectable chart for the first time in 13 years.
Although Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre have worked together plenty of times over the years leaving a lasting legacy across rap and pop culture, Missionary is only their second time completing a full body of work together since Snoop's 1993 classic debut album ‘Doggystyle.’ The album includes a stacked list of features from hip-hop heavyweights including Eminem, 50 Cent, Jelly Roll, Method Man, Sting, the late Tom Petty, Jhené Aiko and more. Watch the ‘Missionary’ album trailer HERE.
Snoop also recently joined forces with UNION Los Angeles to release a special edition collaboration inspired by the new album. The collaboration consists of two Missionary x UNION Box Sets, which includes a Union x Snoop t-shirt and Missionary CD. Check out the collaboration HERE.
