THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS “SKIPPING LIKE A STONE (FEATURING BECK)” VIDEO OUT NOW

20 SEPTEMBER 2023 (TORONTO, ON) — The Chemical Brothers have released a video for Skipping Like A Stone - their recently released collaboration with Beck.

Directed by New York based duo Pensacola, "Skipping Like A Stone" is a Lynchian trip that follows a stone on a journey from the riverbank to the city and beyond. During its travels, it is elevated from its humble beginnings as it undertakes a properly cosmic trip in four dimensions. The video stars Kurt Steiner, who holds the world record for stone skipping and is - rightly - a legend among the global stone skipping community. Watch the video here.

"Skipping Like A Stone (feat Beck)" is taken from The Chemical Brothers’ tenth album, For That Beautiful Feeling (Virgin), the band’s 10th top ten album in their 30 year career. The album also features the singles The Darkness That You Fear, No Reason and Live Again. The album was described by Mojo as “one mighty magnificent trip.”

The Chemical Brothers are Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons. For three decades, they have defined the cutting edge of electronic dance music both on their multi-Platinum selling  records and with their hugely lauded hallucinogenic live shows which have played to millions at festivals and arenas all over the world. For That Beautiful Feeling is the first Chemical Brothers album since 2019’s No Geography, which featured the massive singles Got To Keep On, Free Yourself and Mad As Hell.
